Development
Looking for a Youth Development Technical Director
The Trinidad and
Tobago Hockey Board is recruiting a Youth Development
Technical Director. This person should have a minimum of 10
years experience coaching/playing at the International level
and the ability to certify and coach coaches in the
development program.
Other
requirements are:
Minimum coaching qualification of Level 3 coach or
equivalent by evidence of recognized coaching
certification by International Hockey Federation (FIH)
or through the International Olympic Committee (IOC) or
certification by the Trinidad and Tobago Hockey Board (TTHB)
coaching programs.
Ability to plan and organize programs that meets the
development needs of the Trinidad and Tobago Hockey
Board
Strong administrative and communication skills
Ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere

An Umpires Workshop was held at the recent
Banks Hockey Festival in Bridgetown, Barbados which took place over
the period 19-26 August 2007.
The
Workshop, hosted by the Barbados Hockey Federation and assisted by
the Pan American Hockey Federation Umpiring Committee, was geared
towards Umpires approaching International standard, with all of the
participants coming from the Caribbean area
